This project is to financially help the St Bernadette Children's Project in Lima Peru. A Mission Circle: What it is
The Mission Circles are organized groups of people, who as missionaries in their own parishes, in which the members, band together and follow a program of spiritual and material assistance to a missions foreign or domestic. “In this way the bond between communities will be made visible, and will provide mutual edification."
Mission Circles began in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1956 under the leadership of Msgr. Anthony Brouwers, director of the Mission Office of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles as a tool within parishes to educate and involve Catholic men and women and to stimulate, spiritualism, and systematize mission aid in a personal and concrete manner
The PURPOSE of the Mission Circles is threefold:

Personal spiritual development

Giving direct spiritual and material support to a missionary

Creating, here at home, an interest in all things missionary

Seeing is Feelin:
"Our job on earth is "to help the least of us, in this way we do His will." As I walked among the children and heard there laughter and cheer and saw the sparkle in their eyes I felt a tug to help out. At the home the children reach out to you upon entering and greet you with giggles and cheer. They are of ages from three to thirteen. Inside all the compounds is a different world than outside, you felt safe and secure. There is green plants and all kinds of animals: sheep, chickens, cats, ducks, lama and pigs. It’s like shock treatment to enter from the dusty and brown outside into these compounds."
